Since 1972, Reinhart FoodService has grown from ground zero to become the third largest independent broadline distributor in the nation, serving more than 25,000 customers in a twenty-seven state area with product offerings of more than 14,000 food and nonfood items. Out of twelve full-service distribution centers, we employ more than 2,000 people dedicated to providing high-quality products and top-notch service, and to helping our customers - our partners in business - grow along with us.

The company's beginning in 1972 was humble; there were only a handful of employees selling a limited product line. Today Reinhart is a pacesetter in the foodservice distribution industry. Our customers benefit from state-of-the-art operations technology and software programs such as TRACS Direct® (Timely, Reliable, Accurate Customer Service), and fully loaded laptop computers for our sales force that not only simplify the ordering process, but also bring critical information and management functions to operators.

Our broad inventory today features everything a foodservice operation might need - from fresh produce and seafood to beverage and chemical dispensing equipment. We offer the best national and regional brands on the market, as well as an extensive line of our own exclusive national brand products developed to meet our un-compromised quality standards.

We offer top-quality portion controlled meats processed to order in our two USDA inspected plants, one of which was the first meat processing facilities in the nation to be approved for the USDA's Total Quality Control program.

Membership in some of the industry's premier buying and marketing organizations - Markon, for fresh produce, Independent Marketing Alliance, Distribution Market Advantage, and Amphire, helps ensure that we're able to offer our customers the best products and marketing support at the most competitive prices. A vast network of support people, from customer service representatives to product and market specialists, helps ensure that Reinhart sales consultants and customers alike have the information and expertise they need to succeed.

As the years go by, we continue to recognize the fact that it's customers who have made it all possible. From charter accounts to new additions to the Reinhart family, our customers truly are the heart of the business.
